Faculty Senate Monday, May 3, 1999
Call to order and welcome to new Faculty Senators.
Open session: 15 minutes or less. Statements at the podium on any topic, limited to two minutes. Maximum number of speakers per session is six. No discussion is permitted, and no votes will be taken.
Reports from the President of ASUA, the Vice Chair of the Faculty, the Secretary of the Faculty, the Chair of the Faculty, the Provost of the University, and the President of the University.
Question and answer period for agenda item 4.
Approval of the minutes of March 22, 1999, and April 5, 1999 (copies enclosed).
Elections for Committee on Conciliation, University Committee on Ethics and Commitment, University Hearing Board, and 1999-00 Faculty Senate Representative to the Faculty Senate Executive Committee (biographical statements enclosed). Ballots will be placed on Senators desks May 3 and will be collected and counted at that time.

Discussion and action on consent agenda items forwarded from the Instruction and Curriculum Policy Committee (see enclosure) - Senator Dahlgran, 1998-99 Chair
