1.  Call to order.

2.  Report from the President of GPSC. 3 minutes.

3.  Open session: Statements at the podium on any topic, limited to two minutes. Maximum number of speakers per session is six. No discussion is permitted, and no votes will be taken. 15 minutes or less.

4.   Reports from the President of ASUA, the Vice Chair of the Faculty, the Secretary of the Faculty, the Chair of the Faculty, the Provost of the University, and the President of the University. 25 minutes

5.  Question and answer period for agenda item 3. 10 minutes.

6.  Approval of the minutes of March 4, 2002 (enclosure). 1 minute.

7.  Approval of consent agenda item forwarded as seconded motion from Instruction and Curriculum Policy Committee (enclosure) – ICPC Chair S. Smith. 2 minutes.

8.  Discussion and action: Procedures for placing items on the Senate agenda – Vice Chair Howell for the Senate Executive Committee. (enclosure) 15 minutes.

9.  First reading: "Suggested Changes to Constitution of the General Faculty." – Secretary Mitchell. (enclosure) 1 minute.

10.Report: "Diversity at the University of Arizona, Assessment and Action Options by The Committee of Eleven, March 1, 2002." Senator Caldwell. (enclosure) 5 minutes.

11.Discussion: State university system tuition - Vice Chair Howell. (enclosure) 20 minutes.

12.New Business.  2 minutes.

13.Executive Session: Discussion and action: Seconded motion from the Naming Advisory Committee - Vice Chair Howell.  10 minutes

14. Adjournment.
