Election for Historian/Parliamentarian:
Ballots with nominee Monica Franco or write-in are passed out. Request to
have completed ballots to Angie Gomez before the end of the meeting.
Treasurer’s Report – Sharon Bouck:
2009-2010
budget reflects an 8 % cut ($1,000 difference). Sharon requested each
committee chair to submit an estimated budget for their needs for this year.
Randy Livingston has previous year-end budgets (available upon request) to
assist preparation with estimated budgets.

Town Hall
with President Shelton, Sept 15th from 1:30 – 2:30, Gallagher
Theater:
Need for live feed and budget for live feed is pending. The event is open
to all Classified Staff, and will be advertised via SAC Website, Classified
Staff Listserv-Meeting Notice & Lo Que Pas article. All advertisements will
include a request to pre-submit questions to the President (via SAC
web-site). Eddie is overseeing these aspects. Discussion was had about the
problems with Open Enrollment & our Benefits package. This may be a heavy
topic at the Town Hall meeting. It was suggested that we invite Leslie
Porter, HR Director to one of our future meetings.

Utilization of SAC office—The
SAC Office is located at BearDown Gym and is available for small committee
meetings and for SAC material storage. Keith Humphrey requested we move our
office upstairs. This area is not handicap accessible. Eddie will tour the
upstairs and check on the space & air conditioning.

Football Tailgate with even greater discounted tickets are pending.

requested everyone have their Bio’s on the Website and are up-to-date.

Darlene came to this SAC meeting to network. She has just been laid-off from
her position at the College of Medicine and is falling just short of 100%
retirement eligible. Darlene is interested in any/all open positions,
part-time or full time.

be Historian/Parliamentarian, No write-ins.
