interest in revamping the Family Weekend (10/20-22/06) plan to keep folks on

Eva thanked Tommy for coming to SAC and introduced our
next speakers team: Anila DeHart and Charles Hester from the Human Resources,
Employee Career Advising with Performance Review Through the Eyes of Employees:
Myths, Fears and Opportunities. The presentation stressed that evaluation time
should be looked at as an opportunity to meet with your supervisor and track
progress, set goals and gain feedback. It is important to do an annual
evaluation but they suggest touching base more frequently to be sure everyone's
expectations are known and being followed.
Employee Career Advising offers this and other programs to
employees on campus. You can check out upcoming programs on the HR website at:

ongoing in various career areas like resume writing, giving references as well
as more issues pertaining to performance appraisals. Anila DeHart will work with

sessions and we look forward to continuing these presentations

Tri-University Council
- Eva reported that the exec-board went up to the meeting held at ASU. UA was
well represented and showed the video from our Employee Recognition event that

order to proceed which we would like to see started here at UA. Exec board was
invited to attend a Council Leadership retreat June 2 in Tempe. Tri-U decided
that in order to make procedure of Call to Audience presentations more uniform
the prior hosting council is charged with getting announcement to be delivered
by someone arranged by the new hosting council, etc.
