Barb called the
meeting to order at 3:10pm and welcomed guest speaker Caryn Jung.
Caryn gave a presentation on the dynamics of work life and dependent
care. Topics covered were Employee Assistance Counseling, Worksite
Wellness, Child Care and Family Resources, Elder Care and Life Cycle
Resources, and Work/Life Support. For more information visit their

Barb gave a brief
report on several issues in lieu of committee reports. Areas covered
were:
Faculty Senate
update, School of planning found a new home, membership drive, CSW
scholarship support for the fall seminar, UA Day at the Ballpark
update, commencement volunteers needed, and retreat reminder for
July 26th. Barb will ask Patrick Kass to join us at the
June meeting to give a talk about what’s new at Parking and
Transportation.
Barb announced that she would be stepping down as SAC President. She
plans to fulfill her role as “Past President” for the upcoming term.
Barb made a plea for executive board nominations.
