Grace has been at the UA since 1984. She is an Instructional Specialist Senior in University Animal Care. She has been a member of SAC since 2002 though she has been working with the SAC Employee Recognition Committee and the Staff On Our Own Time Staff Art Exhibit since 1999. She is on the Communications committee and is web master for SAC and bulletin editor. She is SAC liaison for the Campus Advisory Committee and Life & Work Connections. She also volunteers time with Habitat for Humanity, Hospice Family Care and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Claudia have been with the UofA since 2000. She is Secretary, Administrative in the UA Career Services. She has been department representative for the United Way since 2002. She is a team captain for the American Cancer Society since 2005 and the American Diabetes Association since 2003. She volunteers with the South Tucson Police Explorers Post 316.

Lauren has been at the University of Arizona since 2000. She is an Administrative Associate in the Department of Geosciences. She has been a member of UA SAC since 2005 and served on several committees. She has been a member of the Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) SAC for 4 years (Outstanding SBS Staff Award in 2003); BETA member for 5 years; recently served on the Staff Dispute Resolution Committee for 3 years; and a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.

Lupita is the Senior Business Manager for the Southwest Studies Center since July 2000, has been employed at the University of Arizona since 1992. She has served on SAC since July 2003 and has served as Activities and Conference Chair. She serves on the Human Resources Committee and represents SAC at the Student Union Advisory Council. Lupita is also a member of the Staff Advisory Council of the College of Social and Behavioral Science serving as Treasurer. Lupita has been UA BETA Past President and Conference Director and is a member of Alpha Theta Kappa-Honor Society.

Joyce has been with the University since 1996, starting as a Bicycle Enforcement Officer and moving up to Program Coordinator of Parking Enforcement in 1998. With a current staff of 11 full time employees and 7 student employees keeping her very busy. In 2006 took on the additional duties of Bicycle enforcement. Joyce has served on the PTS Employee Recognition Committee in the past and completed the University Leadership Institute in 2007. Joyce is an NAU Alumn and a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Keeping busy outside of work with a son at NAU, a daughter here at the U of A and President of an Investment Club.

Angie has a broad range of experience in the accounting field, and is seeking her bachelors in Accounting. She is also a former member of Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Tucson Chamber of Commerce.

Eva has been at the University of Arizona since 08/02/76. Currently the Office Supervisor in the Physics Academic Support Office working primarily with Undergraduates. She has been a member of SAC since July 2003 and was the President (2005-2007). Active on the following: SAC Activities Committee, CSW, Faculty Senate, UA Cares Steering Committee. Also participating with other groups at the University such as: BETA Group and CoSSAC. Outside of the University: IAAP; Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer Society.

Robin has been at the University of Arizona since 02/07/95. Started in Accounts payable and moved to employee reimbursements. For the last three years I have been doing payroll and recently have taken over the 1099 tax issues for vendors. Outside of the University, I am a homemaker and mother of a junior in high school and a sophomore at the University of Arizona.

Kevin has been at the University of Arizona since 2004. Currently a Senior Staff Technician with the Steward Observatory. Responsible for fabrication and integration of telescope optics. Involved with the UofA's School of Architecture - Design Build projects with Habitat for Humanity. He participated in SAC meetings since March 2006.

Shana has been with the Chemistry department here at the University of Arizona since September 2006. Having started out as the Front Office Administrative Assistant, she is currently an Administrative Associate supporting 5 faculty and their research groups, as well as training new admins, heading many special projects and helping to direct policy and procedure. She recently acted as a Crew Leader for the Blue-Door Store at UA's Cats in the Community Day for Primavera Foundation. She joined SAC in June of 2007 and is enjoying being a conduit of information for her department, as well as a representative in many campus activities and events.

Debbie has been at the University of Arizona since January of 2000. She is currently the Administrative Associate for the Office of Summer & Winter Session. She has completed her first year on SAC and is excited to continue for the upcoming year. She also serves as a member of the NAASS (North American Association of Summer Sessions) organization, AUSS (Association of University Summer Sessions) organization and WASSA (Western Association of Summer Session Administrators). She is also our Blue Star Mothers representative.

Leslie D. Porter, SPHR, has worked as a human resources professional at the University of Arizona for over 15 years. She has served in a variety of capacities including compensation and classification, employment & recruitment, employee relations and benefits administration. She currently serves as Director of Benefits & Employment Advising with oversight responsibility for Recruitment & Employment, Employee Advising, Leave and Disability Management, and Benefits & Retirement Administration. Leslie is a UA alumnus and national member of the College and University Personnel Association (CUPA) and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). She is a local member of SHRM of Greater Tucson and the Tucson United Way HR Advisory Board. Leslie is very active is sports and officiates Junior High, High School and Junior College Basketball and Volleyball.

She has served on SAC since July 2003, is currently SAC Treasurer, serves on the Human Resources Committee and is the staff representative on Strategic Planning and Budget Advisory Council (SPBAC). Ana also serves on the College of Science staff advisory council, where she is Treasurer and serves on the Staff Recognition Committee.

She is currently an Accountant at the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She has been with SAC since 2005 and served as Co-Chair and active member of COSSAC for three years prior to SAC. She is the chair for the 2008 SAC Crossroads conference and is also an active member in the Employee Recognition, Human Resources and Activities Committees. She represents staff on the Campus Recreation Advisory Committee and the Faculty Senate Taskforce on Childcare.

Claire Tapia has worked for the University of Arizona Main Library for 16 years and is a member of the Document Delivery Team. Claire works as a Library Specialist and is one of the production managers for interlibrary loan, she also works at the photocopy counter and processes Electronic Reserves courses. Claire is also on the Staff Governance Board for the Library and was the representative to the Staff Advisory Council, which is how she became interested in becoming a member.
