unit within the Office of Arid Lands and the College of Agriculture and
Life Sciences.  For more than 30 years, ALIC has provided specialized
information services to the University community, the public, government
agencies and international development organizations.

Health Insurance Portability and Accounting Act Team

The charge of this committee was to review the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accounting Act) and establish a set of goals including: informing patients and obtaining consents, establishment of clear privacy policies, securing information and education of faculty, staff and student on the HIPAA regulations.
