UA Pride Night
SAC members Grace Aranda, Eva Gonzales, Kevin Law, Randy
Livingston, Jean Mason and Lilian Schwartz had a great time touring the
College of Medicine Phoenix Campus before heading over to the Pride
Night event. Pride Night, which serves to
remind the legislature that though UA is in Tucson, now have a presence
in Phoenix, we are in fact a
presence in the state and have a voice in decisions they make everyday.

KUAT June Volunteer Day
Thanks to those who participated in SAC's KUAT pledge
drive on June 9, 2007. We raised a total of $11,400 from all our
work that day. Special thanks to our own Barbara Foster, for all
her help in getting a fun group together and Erin Deeley at KUAT for
helping field our questions.

It was a great success
and all vendors were very happy. A special thanks to SAC
members Eva Gonzales, Marcy Remington,
Lupe Jacobo, and Randy Livingston for helping with set-up and selling all the bake
goods. A big thanks to all members that brought the bake goods for
bake sale. SAC received a grand total for the event was $228.20.
The money will go to the Commission on the Status of Women
committee for the Family Care Workgroup play area. Thank you for
your support!
KUAT December Volunteer Day
Erin Deely of the KUAT Communications Group reported that due
in part to SAC volunteers, KUAT raised $170,250. Those critical dollars allow
KUAT to continue
and expand service to the community!
