Scholarships/Graduate Support
Fletcher awards grants in aid on a yearly basis; however, only a very few of these
scholarships cover the full expenses of tuition, room and board. The School requires
students seeking Fletcher aid to explore outside sources for fellowship grants and loan
programs. Students should begin their search for aid as soon as they decide to apply.
Special Features
The Program in Southwest Asia permits specialization in the Gulf and Central Asian regions
in conjunction with the courses offered by the international programs in economics,
politics and development. Arrangements with Harvard University permit Fletcher students to
register for graduate courses offered at the Middle East Center, and to use their research
facilities. There are also a Armenia and Qatari diplomatic training program offered at the
Fletcher School.
Additional Information
The Fletcher School intends to expand its activities in the Middle East and North African
areas.
