Support for Syrian students and Palestinians living in Syria, considered as Syrians, and a certain percentage for Arab and foreign students awarded scholarships

Special Features
Damascus University is the oldest and largest of the four current universities in Syria. It has fourteen faculties and five institutes. It is the only university in the world which, for over fifty years, has taught science and medicine in the Arabic language.

Additional Information
The language of instruction is mainly Arabic. In some faculties, there are courses taught in a modern European language.
