Nondiscrimination and Affirmative
Action Statements
The University is required to include a statement of nondiscriminatory policy in any bulletins, announcements, publications, catalogs, application forms, or other recruitment materials that are made available to participants, students, applicants, or employees. For magazines, books, and
other more lengthy publications and productions: The
University of Arizona is an equal opportunity, affirmative action

status, sexual orientation, or gender identity and is committed to maintaining an
environment free from sexual harassment and retaliation. For
shorter publications, such as advertisements, one-page announcements,

and personnel policy manuals: The University must publish brief descriptions of its discrimination complaint procedures and its Sexual Harassment Policy in student handbooks, catalogues, and personnel policy manuals.
