Access your new Web Site

Authors using Windows 2000, XP or Vista on their desktop

Start Front Page 2000, FrontPage 2003 or Microsoft Expression Web 

Go to File, Open Web or File, Open Site

Type in http://fp.arizona.edu/<websitename>

You will be prompted with a username/password window.  You must type in canet\ before you type in your username. For example:  catnet\lgray (remember the \ after catnet).

Your username and password should match your UANet ID username and password.

This will open your Front Page Web for authoring.

You must name all your home pages to default.htm, default.asp, index.htm, index.html

 Please do not make any absolute links on your pages that will point to any pages within your own web site, use relative links please.. Any external links will have to be absolute and we recognize this but within your own web site refer to other pages with relative paths please..


Authors using Windows 98 on their desktop

In order to bring up your Web Page for authoring inside of Front Page you must to the following:

From the start menu, pick Run

In the Open field, type in the following command

frontpg  http://fp.arizona.edu/websitename.   If you wish, you can create a shortcut on your desktop for that command.
